    MP5054 strikes on copy

    Hi everyone,

I have the problem from beginning with MP5054. I have to change the drum cleaning blade every 30T-50T copies because strikes appear on copies.
Every time when I changed cleaning blade(AD041158)I clean whole drum unit but the problem reappears after 30T-50T copies . I changed whole cleaning unit too but the problem remains. The firmware is updated.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Any idea how to fix that problem?

Can you provide a picture? I'm not sure what you mean by "strikes"

what are you cleaning the drum with?

are you powdering the blade and drum? if you don't have drum powder.. you can use yellow toner ( as long as it doesn't have developer in the toner )

a dry blade can cause all sorts of problems.

With cleaning drum unit I mean vacuuming it.

I'd start with a new drum and drum blade and make sure you either put setting powder on the drum and blade or toner from the machine.
