    once i had to change one off two switchs , and it was easy.
    you must take off the operation panel ,fusing unit and some screws.

      These boxes have a nasty habit of breaking the right door switch (more likely due to user intervention!). It is a very flimsy part that sits in the area where the top of the right door meets the side of the op panel.

      I have seen ones where the switch fell apart completely. All that was left was the base where the loom plugs in. There was a large chunk out of the black cover plastic that was supposed to keep the white plunger in place.

      Had to hunt around for a replacement as it was not a normal wear part we kept in stock. Found the MP2000 Lover cover switch was a match - quite a B with an itch to replace though....

        Yes it was no fun getting in there.
        I was able to adjust the switch actuators to work but really the top left corner of the right side door is warped a little (probably from the heat from the fuser) causing the door to not close completely flush.
