    Lanier lc440

A customer called to ask if we worked on the Lanier lc440. I had to look it up and I can not find it on the ricoh tech page. I googled and found a picture of it. What ricoh model does it cross over with? I called another dealer and they also not heard of this model. Is it out of a different country?

As far as I can tell, it doesn't exist, and if it were a colour machine the 'C' would be at the end, so it's probably something like LDxxxC

      It's probably a MP C4500. (40/45ppm)

      LC425/LC430/LC435/LC440.

      MP C2500/MP C3000/MP C3500/MP C4500

Interesting. And I agree with your guess
I don't have any experience with the Lanier Line, but my model X-ref shows a Ricoh MP C4500 (for example) as ld445C. Were they Labeled differently in Europe?

          Not really sure.
It's always been quite strange how Ricoh operates under multiple brand names.

According to a source I found for toner, this is correct. Check the serial number plate. There should be a Product Code on it. It will be a letter followed by three digits. With that code, we can get you the correct manual.

May be as easy as calling the customer and ask them to verify the model.

                Re: Lanier lc440

Went to look at the copier today. Its the same as a MPC3500. The label says its a Lanier lc440. It came from a whole sale distributer so who knows where is originally came from. Now just waiting to see if they want it fixed or not.
