[Misc] Ricoh MPC4000 - fusing problem

Hi guys. I have this fusing problem with ricoh mpc4000. The toner is not fixing properly on paper. The fuser is ok but i want to raise the fixing temperature. Can someone help me with this? I have little experience with ricoh and i can't get my way through the service manual. Thank you

Are you running thick paper through the machine without setting the paper tray to the appropriate thick paper setting?

In the 1000 SPs there are settings for temperature for the various paper settings that can be adjusted.

He ran some thick paper without changing the settings. But i would like to change the temperature just in case.

Not a good idea to mess with the fusing temps. My experience has been that these machines fuse very well, if the customer is using heavy stock they MUST change the media type to match media. You will get non fused prints if not.

Trying running the same paper through the machine with the proper settings first.

If you raise the temperature, you run the risk of causing offsetting.
