CL7200 system card image/data content needed

    Hi Folks,

does anyone have access to a CL7200 printer?

I'd need the content of the system SD card (slot a) for troubleshooting.
Unfortunately my machine crashed during FW update and isn't booting or showing an error anymore - just all LED's and display segments are lighten up, all recovery trials failed.

SM doesn't explain a solution for booting from service SD card - no explanation for the DIP switches at all and my hotline would recommend me expensive standard phrases like installing a new controller board. I won't order any PCB's until I'm shure that they really bricked.

Regarding SM most of the FW is stored on the System SD card together with PS3 - only engine and music FW is stored on a BCU flash ram but I don't think that this is really the cause for my trouble because that wouldn't explain why I get no error or any display reaction.

    THX for any help!!

This is from the copier version service manual (LD 345c/AF 3245c):

Set DIP switch one on the control board to 'on' to boot from an SD Card. Good luck!

Thanks but I already tried this (and a few more dip combinations)

I'd also be interest to know what happen if you turn on the machine without system/ps3 card - in my case it didn't change the symptome.

Powering up our CL7200 without the sd card inserted.
All the lights are on apart from the online button, no display message or engine movement.

I'll PM you the contents of our sd card but I think it will be a authenticated card if it has the PS3 files on it.
In which case you would have to order a geniune sd card replacement (G131 5931).

Restoring every non-ps3 related data did the job - many thanks to cipher!!
