[Error Code] MPC 305SPF fax error code 15-01

Hi guys,

having an issue with my MPC 305spf, turned the machine on and comes up with a red light, I check the status of the red light under the "check status" button, there is a problem with fax. i press the fax option and i get a "15-01" code. According to the service manual for faxes 15-01 indicates "POP3/IMAP4 Server Not Registered" solution: "At startup, the system detected that the IP address of the POP3/IMAP4 server has not been registered in the machine."

I have cycled the machine a few times, checked interface and fax settings, nothing seems to be out of the ordinary, I have updated machine to latest firmware and still no luck...

Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the MP C305SPF has internet fax partially enabled. POP/IMAP IP address is usually set in file transfer email settings, not the interface and fax settings.
