Aficio AP3800C paper weights?

hi there,

Can anyone tell what the maximum paper weights (in .gm) this machine can take (both tray and by-pass)?
also, does it have any issues with coated papers?

I have had problems with coated shiny paper. It dried the fuser out and caused jams after about 10 prints.
It was ok on 1 or 2 offs but any more I got jams at the fuser pickoffs.

I wouldn't recommend to use any coated paper for (especially silicon-oil using color) laser printers AT ALL. In case of doubt use only special sorts of paper wich are approved for color laser printers. Most coated stuff is made for inkjet printers only and doesn't like heat and silicon oil.

I tell my customers that often enough but they try it again and again and again...
