SC-542 code, Afcio 200

After replacing the drum unit on a Ricoh Aficio 200 and turning the power on, in mid initial cycle a SC-542 error code and service wrench comes up. After hand cranking the timing wheel in behind the rear cover of the machine so the drum unit could be removed and checked re-inserted the drum unit still have the code and wrench .

Do I have a fuser problem, or is there an sp code to reset the service code?

To reset a Level A SC, enter SP 5-810 (SC code reset) and select
"1". Then hold down the Photo mode key and the # key at the
same time for at least 3 seconds (this does not require the main

switch to be turned off and on).
