    Ricoh mpc2050 toner out

    Hello!
    After reinstall a new oem black toner cartridge... Copier made only 186 copy then toner cartridge became empty ☺
    Any ideas?

    OEM is not the same as Genuine Ricoh. OEM merely means manufactured to Ricoh's toner menu, i.e. the same ratio of components. It does not mean to Ricoh quality or quantity.

    That said, take the cartridge out and shake it. Does the cartridge feel like it is empty? If not, you could have a bad RFID chip on the cartridge, a bad RFID board in the machine or a bad toner supply motor.

      It's empty..

        i always ck aftermarkets to see how much toner is really inside b4 trying them...
        even use a scale to compare

            I suppose it's possible to do that at heavy density and close to 100% fill.

              i have seen some non oems out there that look like starter toners,meaning like 1/5th of what you get in OEM..
              If you have a real issue your waste bottle will fill up fast.....and you will know as that toner needs to go somewhere
