    MP 201 cuts off page

Sorry about the earlier post, just learned about adding the word print in the title...anyways i fixed the issue that i posted about by clearing 5-801-10&11

New issue...i have a 201 that for whatever reason, sporadically, will only print half the page. This even happens if i am printing a configuration page directly from the copier. I found this issue at a customer, replaced it, brought it back to the shop and tested it a lot, didn't do it so i deemed it ok and figured it might have been something with the old customers network. When i went to install it at a new location it started doing it again. Just cuts off the bottom half of the page.

I replaced the laser unit and so far so good but for whatever reason it doesn't seem to mess up at my shop.

You think the laser was the issue or could it be a board?

    Firmware is up to date...thanks

Did you check the level of the machine front to back?

Are you talking about when the machine is sitting on a table if it is completely flat? Or something else?

      Everything seems level to me.

If you don't have a bubble level. set a marble on the platen glass. If it rolls rither to the front or the back, it is not level. The developer will level itself out and you end up with no developer on the development roller at the high end.
