[Misc] MP C3003 lost print/scan function

Out of the blue, machine lost ability to print and scan, no print /scan settings on user tools, only copy, doc server, and address management icons on home, only has system sp in service mode.

Logging data shows no string next to firmware for print, scan, network support, etc.

Tried updating firmware using package firmware, no change, loaded individual firmware files on sd card , but non of the network stuff shows up, only engine and copy system.

What happen to the print/scan functions?? Did the controller crap out? Hard drive seems ok cuz it still has all the address book entry's.

    Help! Thanks!

this usually happens when you replace the NVRAM check if the nib is enabled in sp

I verified that the nic was enabled, couldn't find any other settings related to nib. All other network related settings in the sp5xxx show invalid operation when viewing. Tried backup of nvram and a memory clear all with no change. Hdd appears to be working, but tried replacing anyways, during machine boot to format the new hdd it faults with 672-12 controller stalled error, but boots fine with old hdd and has no hdd errors.

Thinking ill try nvram first then controller, unless anybody has other ideas.

      Thanks

The more I think about it, the less I believe nvram could cause this issue, im just going to order the controller board, unless someone else has any ideas.
