    [Error Code] AFICIO MP C551 SC 819 ( 5348 0x5554444F )

    Hi Seniors,
It is an AFICIO MP C2551 with SC 819.
The scenario is below step wise:

1.Machine's power supply burnt due to surge and 2 varistors and 02 fuses were exploded.
2.I repaired the power supply and checked all the output voltages that were normal.
3.Installed the PSU in machine and start the machine .The machine was started and a display screen came (attachment 1) on screen "Shutting Down..... Please wait Main power will be turned off automatically.Max waiting time 2 minutes" and machine goes off and turned on automatically and within a minute or so SC 819 ( 5344 0x5554444F) displayed .
4.I have tried to enter in SP mode but nothing happened. Tried to format the HDD with help of PC and installed it but no success.
    5. Tried to update the firmware but machine restarts after 2 minutes each time.
    6. Used Sd card to update firmware, swapped memory modules ,Run diagnosis but SC 819 is there.
7.The machine starts and goes READY in Background with a display |"Shutting Down..... Please wait Main power will be turned off automatically.Max waiting time 2 minutes".
8.Machine shows SC 870 & SC 860 in left lower corner of the screen in background in 1st 02 minutes each time.

It is strange behavior of machine.
I need guidance of advice of seniors.

Missed connector for power switch, the one for the coil that actually breaks the power switch contacts. Had this scenario in an SP5210 that a co-worker failed to diagnose.

      Hi,
I have double checked all fuses and connectors at PSU and start the unit.
Now the unit starts and stay at "Please wait " for a minute or so and then machine restarts and SC 819( 5344 0X5554444F) appears.I cannot access SP MODE .

Have you tried rebooting with the HDD disconnected?
I doubt that's the issue, but it's easy to check.
Otherwise, sounds like more than just the PSU was damaged. SC819 points to either defective Dimm or controller

Sounds like the machine is being asked to turn off, but power remains supplied to the controller. After the shutdown sequence and the power switch solenoid is fired the system expects to turn off. When it does not you get the SC819.

Either there is something wrong with the AC control or the power switch, assuming no connectors were missed on reassembly.

Firstly,Thanking you all for valuable advices.

I have re-plugged all the connectors of PSU & BCU and the position changed as given below:
1.replaced DIMMs and tried .There was SC 672 displayed.
2.Used the old DIMMs and used a SD card containing firmwares to start unit. The window "Preparing to start firmware update" displays for a few minutes and there is some SC shown in background at left bottom corner SC 86 and SC 87 with a phrase "problems with harddisk"and wrench tool( First 4 photos). and SC 672 displayed after 3 to 5 minutes.

If I add harddisk machine restarts and SC819 displayed.
and machine restarts and SC 819( 5348 0X5554444F ) displays.
If I add harddisk machine restarts and SC819 displayed.
            Please guide me further.
There are some switches at Controller and one of them at right side of board is a push button. Is there any way to refresh controller board.I think that I am missing some steps.
I have tried to arrange other controller board but did not arranged.

SC 670 is a communication error between the controller and the display board. Could be a bad controller, bad operation panel or bad USB cable between them.

SC 860 is a general HDD failure. SC 870 is a failure to read address book from HDD.

SC 819 is a fatal kernel error. Either the controller and possibly other boards were blown by the power surge or the components you replaced on the PSU were not the only thing bad on it. Just because the outputs checks correct with a volt meter does not mean that they are clean. If there is more than 0.05 volt ripple on the 5 volt output, it can drive logic circuits bat shit crazy.

                    HI everyone,
I am very grateful to all of you. and specially "ZED 255".
There was a missing connector with"SDVDB" ._CN 921_
It is 2 pin connector on left upper side of board and there is another white connector in wiring coming out of right side of mainframe and that was not properly reassembled.I have check all the connections with board and missed to re-check that loose connection.Although it was mentioned by ZED.
                    relevant(marked) page of manual attached.

                    Thanks to all fellow techs.
