    addressbook copy failure - mp4000 in windows 10

    It keeps asking for a program: "searching on the internet or in computer?"

      When does it ask this? When you're trying to open the UDF file from the machine?
      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          Thank you for your help already...
          When we try to back up the address book it says:
          "Can't open the file Ricoh mp4000_addr.udf."
          And it tells me that there is a program needed to open this file...
          ???

              you dont need to open the file, just export to PC then point to the file when restoring.

                  You will get this if you are trying to backup the address book in WIM and a write protected file of the same name already exists. Either delete the existing file or change the name.
