    MP 2851 windows user authetication, server 2016

    Hello guys, I have a client with a lot of MP 2851 installed, They change the server to Windows Server 2016, and windows user authentication stop to work, i had updated all firmware's and don't work, has anyone experience with such configuration? has anything i can do? or simply MP 2851 Doesn't work on server 2016?

      Ricoh relies on SMB1 for Windows authentication, which is disabled by default in Server 2016. You can either have them turn the feature on, which isn't advisable, or try using LDAP.

          There is a possibility that the Windows user authentication is still trying to connect to the old server. You may need to do the initial setup for Windows user authentication in order to recognize the new server. Also, has the domain name and primary DNS changed.
