    MPC 2500 magenta streaks

    Hi,
i have a machine that is producing magenta lines when printing originals with a high red content, if i look at the drum the lines are on there, the fault dissapears after a few normal prints, but reappears after prints with a high content of red are printed, its not fuser related as the image has lines before reaching the fuser, could it be possible the blade cannot cope with this as another drum has been changed and it has the same issue.
Networking skills are advantageous but use of a 3m vacuum cleaner is essential

How does it look on the transfer - seen lots of used toner and transfer cleaning issues that look very Magenta-ish

Clean the PCU's charge roller - you can swap it out very easy out of the bottom of the PCU. I'm using standard housing cleaner because water or glas cleaner doesn't do the job.

take care that the roller is really dry before reassembling.
