    MP6054 waste toner fail

    First call, noise complaint, the waste container full sensor flag actuator "diaphragm" has broken loose. Machine never shows waste container call and backs up ruining recycle/waste unit and pcu. I'm on the way with new parts this AM.
    Hope there are not a bunch of defective containers?

      I've started checking the waste flags on the Metis and Corona every call, just because the holder they sit in is so flimsy. It wouldn't surprise me if the MPxx54 suffers from the same problem, just need to drill it into people to check the actuator when they empty or replace the tank.
      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          I had one 54 series machine with the blown diaphragm. What a mess!
