[Error Code] SC202 of Ricoh SP320DN

I posted this yesterday but in the wrong forum.. I read through the manual and still cannot see where the polygon mirror motor is located on the machine. or is there a way to reset this code. Inside the left cover all the other motors are working.

    Thanks

    Mike

In most models it sets on top of the laser housing.

Your Laser Housing is just below the Exit area and above the AIO. You will need to remove literally every external cover to access the Laser Housing and the Polygon Mirror Motor inside the Housing.

Do you still have the polygon motor?

no i tossed the boards and laser unit..
if i am not mistaken on other machine a bad laser will smoke the board when it goes,so changing just
the laser might not be the answer..
i am in your neck of the woods..

                  thanks,

First it cam up with fuser needs replacement, then SC202....Either polygon mirror motor or bad board? Not sure if its worth fixing as the motors are not cheap
