    Aficio 350 sc 401-2

    SC401-2: Transfer roller open error
    -Definition- [B]
The transfer roller current feedback signal is not detected.
    - Possible causes -
    High voltage supply board defective

Poor connection between the transfer current terminal and the high voltage
    supply board

    Poor PCU connection

I have has this fault appearing intermittently on this machine, when i get there its ok, i have cleaned the contacts on the transfer trollers and was wondering if any one else has had this trouble with theses? Next may be the hv board but i want to ask you guys if you have had this code.

Just trying to help here ...

I have not been plagued by that particular code but might want to suggest that you check the two 'tornado' springs which may not be maintaining contact as the t-belt assembly moves. Another thought, although I'm not too sure about, is the drum ground bearing loosing ground intermittently (I'm not sure how that would effect transfer bias).

Also check for pin holes in the transfer belt and make sure the 1/4 turn clutch is working properly.
