Try printing out the service monitor report. if that shows errors then it may be a line issue, is it from all numbers that you get this problem?

You could even try a fax memory clear (last resort) if its on all numbers, have a look at the journals to see if they print out ok and let me know what you get.

I had a 2022 that was doing a similar thing when sending. I ended up turning off ECM, clearing the fax NCU and formatting the HDD. Make sure print out or save the fax destinations, print information and scanning info before formatting or clearing anything.

Thanks for the reply and i think i have found the issue, we loaned the customer a new machine which worked...then a few days later it didn't. This is when i went ino the comms room and decided to remove the adsl filter (disabling there broadband temporarily) and got our office to send a fax, it worked!!! Anew filter of a different brand (higher quality) has been fitted and so far it has worked.
