Ricoh Optional Counter Interface Unit Type M12 Pinout

Hi folks, a few years back I had to make a dozen cables at work to interface a number of Sharp copiers with new Blackboard Devices. I now need to do the same on 40 Ricoh copiers which all have the Type M12 interface unit. Can anyone share the pinouts for this unit? Blackboard does not have prebuilt cables for these copiers.

    Thanks

Sorry, I appear to have both Type M12 and Type A interfaces across the fleet. Any help is appreciated.

I was not able to find a point to point for those items. I don't think they are listed in the point to point for any machine either.

A model number or two might be helpful. Search for controller options parts catalog for the model you are working with.
Looking at the service manual for the Type A MP C6502 for the Type A you will either have to order the interface kit EDP code 413012 or order Key Counter Interface Board PCB:MKB:AP-C1 and harness B875510. The parts for the Type M12 for a couple of models are Key Counter Interface Board D2025680 and harness B875511.

Do these already have counter bracket/socket installed? Does the customer already have the counters? User codes might actually work better. Easy to set up and requires no additional equipment.

Thanks slimslob, I've opened a ticket with Ricoh to see if they can provide me with these details. We have 100K cards in circulation so codes are not possible. I do appreciate your feedback.

What Blackboard readers will be used and are you only looking to charge one price per copy regardless of paper size and color. Jamex may already have cables like that built.
