    [Error Code] MPC 2003 - SC670-01

Hi everyone. In the last two weeks i had fought with this damn code on MPC2003.
For first, i have upgrade all firmwares, but nothing changed. The machine doesn't
make the fax board work, asks for a reboot and when it happens a SC670-01 is
    stored in the sc history.
After an advice from ricoh italy i changed the bicu board and now the machine doesn't
go in stand-by and still not see the fax board. At the moment it seems that sc670-01
    is disappeared.
Some advices? RICOH told me to change also the controller board.

    THanks everyone for answer.

    Hi there!
Dumb question, is the flimsy jumper of the fax-board correctly set ? And if you remove the fax-board, runs the machine correctly ? Once i had a DIANA with a defective fax-board out of the box, it killed the bcu-board & the controller.
    Greetings...

      hi!
Right question... the jumper is set corretly, i tried to remove the fax board and
      the machine still gave sc670-01.
Then I replace the bcu board, ri-assembled the fax board and the machine stops
(for the moment) with the SC but still dont go on stand-by and dont display the
      fax board.

there is 3V lithium battery on the fax board, it retains the fax memory when the machine is unplugged. The purpose of the jumper is to cut power to the battery when the fax board is not installed. If you installed a used fax board, chances are that whoever removed it from the previous machine did not set the jumper back to "off" ; this will result in the board draining the battery. You may want to check if your board battery still has 3V. ]
