    Ricoh MP W3601 Meter

I have a quick question for a Ricoh Wide Format tech. By default, does the MP W3601 count in square feet or linear feet?

Since wear on maintenance items is based on rotations I would say linear feet.

Most of that business traditionally billed by the square foot so many machines offered both options. I know some of the older KIPs that Kyocera re-labeled were square foot out of the box with an option for linear.

Just wondering if anyone knows for sure?

        SP 5045 002... = "2" linear ft....= "5" square ft.

Don't trust "default". The newest ones actually say default = 2 but are set to 5 out of the box.
