    Hdd error in mpc8002

    Dear all,
I have one machine model mpc8002. I am able to make copies on that scanner and printer also shows on panel but when I can't access 'system settings' and 'system sp' it rejected by beep.
On the lower left corner it shows 'sc-860, sc878-08, email reception error, sc925'

First I test hard drive on other machine which is ok and then I replaced hard drive by new ones.
I can access to service mode 'system sp' immediately after power on the machine before printer and scanner application loading in process after entering service mode I try to format hdd by sp-5832-001 but it shows 'failed'. I also intialized address book by entering in factory mode by sp-5846-046.
    But issue not resolved.
Kindly guide me to resolve my issue.
    Thanks in advance.

Try formatting with network cable unplugged.

Short of replacing the HDD, I know of one thing you can try:

Back up the NVRAM to an SD card (shut down machine, put it in slot 2, boot and find "NVRAM Data Upload" under SP5XXX)
Then run SP5801 All Memory Clear
Reboot and try to format the HDD again. Whether or not it works, be sure to restore the NVRAM back to the machine from the SD card.

When you tested the drive on another machine, did you use the power and data cables from the other machine? If so, try replacing the cables.
