looking for input regarding Aficio SP 5200S

    hi
i just picked up a few 3 tray 5200s with 10k to 20k to place at a few accounts for backups to older mp 6001 that
are starting to get old but still run ok.
I didnt really see much doing a search via copytechnet so ill ask here.
    Are they worth dealing with?
    anything problematic with them?

    thanks

Every unit has its quirks but the 5200 and 5210 series printers and MFPs are pretty solid. Weakest part IMHO is the paper tray. Lock them down and set the lever for thicker media and they don't cause many issues.

I have lots of these to care for and some are 1,000,000+ on the meter without any really big issues. Got two closing in on 1.5M.

Of the few we have sold and serviced, the weakest point is the lower roller, wrinkling copies/prints. Bought a dozen of them just for the fusers/parts. Otherwise they run great. Small footprint, good speed/features, people like them.
