Re: Hard Reset on Ricoh MP2851
-= IF =- you are talking FACTORY reset MAKE DAMN SURE you have the birth cert and a SERVICE manual to guide you thru re-inputting the birth certificate info
it would help us more if you were SPECIFIC on WHY you want to do this, and what issues you had before with the unitComment

Re: Hard Reset on Ricoh MP2851
Major problem is a Microsoft update that turned off SMB v1 as the easiest way to block Wanna Cry. MP 2851 current only supports SMB v1. Three options:- Have IT to enable SMB v1. For safety IT should use firewall to block from any IP address other than the 2851.
- Use FTP or email until Ricoh develops firmware for SMB v2/v3. Could be anywhere from a month or two to never.
- Update the customer a 2555 or 3055.
Your sales people prefer option 3.Comment
