      you are having a connectivity problem.
      IP address of the Gateway is wrong.

        I tried with a mpc2051 and ricoh mp2851 the connectivity is ok. with the same address.

                Have you checked that there are no access control settings that are blocking your IP on the device?

                Recheck all settings, including subnet mask and gateway also.
                Press the GREEN button!!

                          when you ping the IP address of the mp2852, does it repply from that ip address?
                          If no, then that is your problem.

                            As he stated in his very brief initial post, he can print to it, so it's just a guess that he can ping it.

                              Check the setting of SP 5985-001. It should be set to 1. If it is set to 2 WIM might be disabled.
                              Do the following memory clears:
                              • SP5801-010 Web Services
                              • SP5801-011 NCS You will have reenter all network settings
                              • SP5801-020 Web application settings.
