    RICOH MP3500 TD Sensor Initialization

After entering SP Mode and trying to do a TD sensor Initalization the photocopier prompts me for a 7 letter word before the "execute" button is available to select. Is there a generic 7 letter code or where can I find it?

    Thanks,
    Ryan

I believe it is asking for the batch number on the developer (top of bag )that you put in the copier.

Ok I ran the TD Sensor Initialization then the Developer Initialization (note: this is a brand new copier out of the box), but I keep getting SC391 error (bad TD sensor connection/bad toner supply) - I'm I forgetting to do something to get this copier started?

I just get blank pages when I try to copy something. Where is the TD Sensor located?

        Thanks,
        Ryan

Might be a stupid question, but you did check to see if it has developer installed ryan416?

New machine, td sensor error, blank copies... sounds like the dev unit is empty to me.

I never had to install a brand new copier wich i have never seen it again. Do you really think that you can support this 'monster' ignoring what does TD means? Good luck...

I've had a few new boxes with this problem. Just reseat the developer. The connector on the back of the developer unit isn't making a good connection.

If ya don't know where the TD sensor is, ya need more help than I can give you.
