Any body seem this, with the pdcu out of the machine?

These machines have a shared drum/waste toner motor and a separate dev motor.
If you're running the motors in output mode and still getting a noise it might be an indicator that the motor itself is shot.
Just as a test...replace the waste toner bottle first.(cheaper option)

I have had this same issue and it is usually the waste toner bottle

Have also seen waste bottle make noise. The machine sounds like a motor but it is the waste bottle.

Yep, it was the waste bottle...
