    Wrong PCDU" message in 5th station proc7100x

    hi every one

    have a good day

    i have problem with proc7100x ...the customer tray to replace withe color 5 with clear but and he follow the instruction the field service manual also ther is video from Ric oh guide him how to replaced the 5th color but now the machine not goes ready and give him this massage

    (The error message "Set PCU clean Unt/Wrong PCDU) :

    i do this action

    :replaced with Noe 5th color
    replace all component (charge & cleaning ) but its give me failed ...

    any one can help me

    Ricoh actually distributed some bad units and later released an advisory about the problem units. I'll see if I can find you the pdf.

        thanks for your responding ...i know this pdf i sawand i know this RTB ...this RTB talking about develoment unit in fourteen 2014
        but now all my development is in 2016

        so just i want to know what the solution ?

            Even if you did not get one of those bad 2014 units----you may still have a similar issue. The unit has a chip that stores the color information.This chip is blank until installation occurs, and the machine writes the information to the chip upon installation.

            Either the part you got didn't have a blank chip or the 5th station installation procedure was not followed correctly.

            After installing the 5th station for the new special color.....you have to log into user tools and go to adjustments for skilled operators. Select machine image quality. Select Adjust image density/dems. Then select DEMS and hit execute.

            Did someone forget to do this step?

              yes .. i am sure some one forget one of step but now i want to solve the problem ..what should i do to make device reading special color 5th station ??
