Have a MFC that's lost it's ability to communicate with the network after about 4 years. RJ45 port has a steady yellow light but an additional green light will momentarily wink on when cold booting the machine. Desire to roll the settings of the machine back to factory, holding down the "./" and the "#" do NOT erase the current assigned network static address nor erase the address book. Have tried a regular cat-5 patch cable but have not created the crossover cable to rule out my network switch. I have pulled the controller board marked "Ricoh" and "D0095278" read here that one guy replaced the board and still had no communications as well as an error code (Currently the machine is not showing any). I'm trying to verify if this is a software or hardware problem. Another guy posted to change the wireless 802.xx to the default settings but mine doesn't show this option in any menu. Attached is a 3 page pdf of the settings and their values.
Yes, I know i've got to clean up that line on the output as well.
I don't mind loosing everything but the counters.
TIA,
AndyC
