Ricoh 6513 Registration issue? Fiery E-710 install. RT-36 install?

Copier produces good quality duplicates, but there is a problem.
Link to video depicts 1 problem:

We can not calibrate or run the setup on the E-710 Fiery Controller, because of passwords. How do we setup the machine from scratch?
We download all the software, but the Fiery Link can't find the IP Address. Pinging results in failure as well.
    We recently purchased this:

Large Capacity Tray RT36 Ricoh Gestetner Savin Copier - eBay (item 200266531367 end time Oct-29-08 08:14:03 PDT)

However, there weren't any screws other than a 1 page installation pamphlet. Which doesn't seem to describe the ricoh 6513 installation. Can't figure out how to connect it.

The unit didn't include a output paper tray or sorter. If you have it or know where to get it, we need it.

    Thanks.

Just a thought--make sure the guides in the paper drawer you are feeding from is lining up correctly. The rear guide may be moving freely (this is just a quick and simple to find possibility).

Typically, the pw is Fiery.1 (exactly as I typed it).

    Good luck.

I wish it were so, the password is different. Checked paper trays and paper, both are locked in correct positions. Two things I did that I hadn't tried before. Changed paper tray from portrait to landscape. Duplicate shifted to the right this time by 1/4 of an inch, and about 1/16 downward. Then I tried it from the bypass tray, same result.

So many things it could be...Can you run a test print from the Fiery? Preferably the PS test print.

If the pw has been changed and you have no way to recover it from the person who changed it then I believe you have to reinstall the system software on the Fiery.

Yes, I can print all the test and configuration pages. I don't have the CD's, so how do I setup from scratch?

you could try to make copies from the glass to see if the issue´s the same, seems like a simple side to side of the ADF, installing system software is not that simple, you´ll need a boot CD, a portable CDrom with a SCSI connection, connect it to your fiery E-710 SCSI connection and let the software run like a normal Windows installation, takes about 45 minutes to install.

Fortunately, I do have an external SCSI CD-ROM Drive. If you have the software? Can you send it to me via MSN Messenger as an ISO. Add my e-mail address: ehandler3@hotmail.com We did copy from the glass too, but the result was the same.

Problem has been isolated to the paper tray

Although we checked the green paper guides, the metal paper guide was the issue. A couple of teeth were broken, so it moved or shifted 1/4 inch. After re-adjusting it, the problem was resolved. Thanks everyone for your contributions. I do have another issue on my Savin SDC326A, but I'll start another thread for it.
