Print with Glayscale increase color counter

Hello,
I have a Ricoh MPC5503 and I want to print a PDF in grayscale but also It have got some pages in color. I configure the driver in Color Mode but all sheets print increase the color counter, 95% are grayscale, how Can I configure the driver or machine?

You can only print in Colour or Mono, there is no auto select (KM's have auto colour)

you have mixed properties in the file ( B&W/COLOR) you are printing in "grey scale" which is COMPOSITE COLOR ( like others mentioned combo of all CYM to make grey scale ) MOST PDF's will use composite black when there is a mix of color text/border/logos on the page ( color border/logos use more toner than just plain text ) therefore your color count will be higher
