    J057 DF exit jams on 6001

    Jams after the second original; did sensors, ow bearings on the back?

        J057 is a trail edge exit jam. That means that the trailing edge has not left the sensor soon enough. Check to see if the first original is prevent the next one from dropping into the exit tray.

          If you ve cleaned all transport rollers,sensors,changed feed belt and sep roller then
          on these adf units the only odd issue i ve seen is one way bearings going and the adf feed clutch getting dirty or at times
          needing replacement.i shoot alcohol wth a paper towel to catch spray as i turn...
          Long shot bad harness if all else fails

                  Before or after the next one hits it.

                  One other possibility. If the lead edge of the second is not yet near the exit there is a possibility it is the first sheet that it is detecting as jammed. In which case it could be a bad exit sensor or dirty black reference. Dirty black reference will cause a delay in seeing the trail edge of the paper which will throw a jam.
