    Ricoh 2020 drum and developer replacement

    I usually work on the 2022 series but have a customer with a 2020 needing drum replacement.

    Are the drum and developer replaced individually on these rather than an entire PCU like on the 2022's?

    If so does someone have the procedure handy, thanks.

      I might be the only one, but that's a RTFM situation in my book.
      the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.

              I'm not trying to be a hard ass about it, but I don't have the time or the energy to put manuals out to everyone. Nor do I want to. If you don't have the training, manuals or resources to work on the machines, talk to your boss. You will be a more efficient and better technician if you have these available to you.

              The unit is removed from the body of the machine the same as the 2022. Remove screw at the front sid and remove the drum pin/shutter gear assy from the front. At the rear, remove the developer drive coupling, two screws and the cover plate. The upper half will come apart from the dev portion of the unit. Turn the unit over. On the front side, remove the white retaining clip and remove the drum. Reassembly is the opposite of disassemby.

                  thanks for the info, I do appreciate it.

                  I am a 1 man operation and I do have manuals for everything I normally service, but this is the only 2020 I've ever encountered so I was caught without the documentation.
