I have a pro 8200 very random likes to dog ear only in duplex mode,
can do it from every cassette , I removed the finisher and it still dog ears,

I haven't worked on this machine but my suggestion would be to look in the duplex paper path for any small broken guide fingers or other paper guide parts. There might also be a loose or missing latch spring in one of the plates that can be moved to remove paper jams.

If it really is only dog earing when duplexing then your problem is likely isolated to the duplex unit.

Ricoh is notorious for worn Mylar guides in the paper feed areas getting holes worn in them be the corners of the paper.

        well..
since it is only doing it in duplex mode...from all trays...

is there toner fused/unfused in the dogear? if in the fold... happening before fuser or at drum (after image transferred to page ) ...... unfused could be same w/unit set at plain paper much like a fuser running envelopes, but set on plain paper

but first you need to check duplex path like others have mentioned.

Open the doors and pull out the transport bed. On the left hand side is a guide plate assembly with a solenoid on it. The spring on the solenoid slackens over time and causes dog earing and jam 40.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          Hit it.

Thanks for ever-ones help I found some worn Mylars in the duplex section,
replacing the mylars resolved the issue.
