I have actually seen a hole punch that took out the finisher board, but the problem was on set up and not in the field. The hole punch got dropped bendind the bracket with the board on it causing it to short to the frame and take out the finisher board. Did I mention I intensely dislike these hole punches?

Samir: No, not again. I... why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam? I swear to God, one of these days, I just kick this piece of shit out the window.
Michael Bolton: You and me both, man. That thing is lucky I'm not armed.

        Hole Punch Update

After the IT guru's went and reloaded all the embedded software and did it in the correct order this time the problem seems to have vanished. It appears that the original IT wallys stuffed up and corrupted something when they did the first copier, copied it all onto a memory stick then when around the other 7 copiers transfering the fault as they went.

The correct order seems to be 1. ESA Transformer, 2. Enhansed Locked Print, 3.Softlog.

Whether the customer wanted all this extra software the salesman loaded the contract with is another rant all together! I'm convince most of this stuff is just a solution looking for a problem!
At least 50% of IT is a solution looking for a problem.
