Counter Page page coverage question - how to understand

Hello, for the SP C242SF, the Toner Page Coverage counts are not in percentages in the "Coverage Column" and I am not understanding what they might be. Can anyone direct me?

For the black, is that 16.134% coverage for 4535 pages out of a total of 4990 pages? So the difference of 455 pages had no black?

And 7.968% for Cyan? They are providing it down to the thousandths? It can't be 79.68%, so this is my guess.

    Hi there!
Take as an example for color-coverage sp 8-601-02 and devide it with the counter of sp 8-581-02 then you have the coverage. Example 658706 / 23450 = 28%.
    Hope this helps.
    Greetings...

I with Zeldaman on this. The numbers in the 'coverage' column is the quantity of toner used, most likely in milligrams.

        Greetings...

Why So complicated this calculation. I think any brand should s show all details in either printouts OR in soft form.
Why? Whats The matter? any way they are not going to get any benefits. Customer will use machines as they wants and will not pay what company demands. If Xerox stops service, there are thousands of technicians who will supports through other way and OEM will loose the profits. Its high time we change our strategy & Give everything to customer & earn good return. To both we as well as company. I knoe unfortunately company will not understand this, lets hope one day will be different.

Hey thanks, I found out the info: the first number is indeed the area coverage, in thousandths. The second number is if you converted all the toner of that color into a full 100% coverage page, this is how many pages you would have printed.
