My customer called and told me the machine has SC142 code, I have not been to the account, I am going in the morning. Anyone seen this code before, what should I look for when I get to machine?

Seriously! I agree Slim.
I mean, is this where we are now? A so-called tech won't even research for his or herself the most basic cause of a particular SC code, and perhaps try something (ANYTHING) for themselves to try and resolve it?
Yeah.....there's about 4 or 5 reasons I can think of that might cause it. Get back to us after you've tried at least some of the obvious ones, so that we're not just throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks!

I get calls like this from other techs... my first reply is always, what does the service manual say... or, what am I a walking sc code dictionary??Comment
