do you mean the cabinet it sits on? or the 2 tray paper deck?
I liked the metal ones from the mpc3002 and earlier better than
this "particle board type" cabinet.

The "2 tray paper feed unit" is not interchangeable between the two models. And I do believe they use different cabinets.

The cabinet for the 03 and 04's is type F. The cabinet for the 02 is type D if I'm not mistaken. As Frohnb said the paper feed pedestal for 02 and 03 are not interchangeable.

Yes, sorry I should have been more clear. I meant the accrual paper tray pedestal.

the two drawer ped on a C3503 is a PB-3230

It is a PB-3130 on the C3502...so no, they are not interchangeable...
