    LD 145 AF 2045

The copier goes dead, no power, dead intermittently. Lately when paper is put on the ADF, copier goes dead, no 5 volts, ie.... LED on op panel, intermittently, I couldn't duplicate.
SC 670 was the only code it threw since this started happening again.
This is the 2nd time I've come across this symptom in 6 months with this copier, 1st time, replaced the HDD and power supply and problem resolved.

I've not been able to reproduce problem. I think it could be the controller/main board, which controls peripherals. Reseated board.

    Has anyone seen the problem?

Sounds like your ADF is blowing a fuse on the board of the machine. I've seen finishers do this as well... Check fuse 101 on the power supply board.

        Power

If it is a fuse, wouldn't the problem be constant instead of intermittent. I will be back sometime next week to check the fuse.
And if it does lose power I will run it without the finisher, so far, I am unable to reproduce the problem.
        Thanks for the suggestions
