    MPC4502 J060 when running transparencies

    Hi all,

I have a machine giving an occasional jam code 60 only when transparencies are run through the bypass. The user's driver is set up to deliver the proper paper type settings. The transparency will come 1-2 inches out of the bridge unit tray and stop there.

I don't ever get to fight with these types of paper, so any tips would be appreciated

Bumping this thread because I have the same issue on the same machine. Only i cannot run any transparencies, gives J060 every time, if it is a print job, it tries to come out of the bridge exit tray and stops. If it is a copy, it stops on the way to the finisher, same jam code J060.

The transparency has a white strip which we are running from the lead edge.

If you are suspecting it is a hardware issue, how bout trying to isolate it?
Disconnect bridge and finisher then recreate the problem.

If it works fine, check your bridge and finisher.

I actually got it running by changing the orientation to portrait, so the white strip ran along the top of the page. Time will tell if this is a permanent solution, since SEF seemed to be the fix last time I worked on it.
