I am working on a Savin 2404wdp that threw a SC547 code. I have read that it could be a fuse, circuit breaker, noise on line, pinched wire, loose connection, power supply, etc. Anyone have any more targeted places to check?
Thanks.
Make sure your clam shell switch is making contact, had this happen and threw a 547. Also check your fuser unit, lamps, thermopiles, and thermistors. I have been working on these machines since they came out and have only replaced 2 power supplies in 10 years.
You might also check if something ELSE is plugged into the AC circuit that the printer is connected to. Space heaters and such cause quite a drain on a line, and can cause copiers/printers to do strange things.

It ended up being the switch for the rear door. The actuator had broken off of the door partially.
I've never seen one through a code doing this. Thanks for the help.
