    Ricoh 3350 gritty copies

Hey guys... My partner is having a heck of a time with a Ricoh mp 3350 with gritty copies like the developer is coming off on all the pages... The drum is coated as well...also the back of page has that 2" dirty mark on lead edge of paper and wont clean up...... he has tried 3 different drum units and rebuilt one as well .... we have 100,s of these units out there and never saw anything quite like this...any input would be helpful.... Thanks in advance!

Can happen if one of two situations exists. Machine is far past PM replacement of developer due. Toner has been completely depleted due to a dirty or bad ID sensor.
