[Misc] MP 2501 Controller

I have a MP2501sp which had a SC672-11 controller error. I troubleshooted the board in another machine and the same error occured. i have another second hand board which looks similar to the faulty one. The faulty board's part number is D1595643. The part number for the board that I want to fit is D159 5608.

Are these boards not the same considering that they both start with D159?

I am confused as to where you get those numbers? Are they on stickers or etched on the board?

The sticker part number should be D1595621 which I cross referenced in the North American and European manuals.

The etched numbers are the part number for an unpopulated board, and does not show up in any parts manual.

Thank you for your resppnse. The part numbers I have given you are etched on the boards. I have checked the part numbers on the stickers and have observed that they are different. The correct one is D1595606 (Mp2501sp) and the wrong one is D1825729 (Mp Mp2553sp).
