MP-C5000 cannot access web user interface & cannot P

hello everyone

sorry about the repeat, forgot about the title with the P word in it

client bought this machine at auction, they say it came from a university. copies fine, print quality is good, setup IP addy, Default Gateway, Subnet Mask & DNS servers - 'add printer' on windows 10 confuser using TCP/IP, it found the machine, talked to it, and installed the correct drivers

but it will not print(error printing), neither can i access the Web User Interface (error loading) but i can ping it fine - perhaps the university had some type of security to prevent unauthorised printing?

swapped out the controller board to no avail, swapped out the NVRAM but got error 995-001 (serial number issue i forgot how to remedy)

suggestions anyone?

The device has access control enabled in it.
Print the interface settings and you'll see the access control IP address.

or

clear the access control using telnet command

"access flush or flash"

The university may have installed a device certificate. Try to access WIM using HTTPS instead of HTTP. If you can, remove the device certificate. that should take care of the WIM problem.

Is there a valid print scan SD/VM card in slot 1 ?

Hi

did you check that user codes are not enabled? The device will chuck print jobs away when they are enabled.
