just replaced the belt and now i can't get rid of the setting error. i've done plenty of these but this one is giving me trouble. rechecked everything twice but i can't get rid of it. nothing is bent and the jumper is in the correct spot. ideas appreciated. thanks

I assume you have reset the SC fuser code in service mode.
You're not trying to use a fuser unit from an old AF3260 or MP-C6000 are you?
The above are generally non-interchangeable, they may look similar;they just don't want to work in another model machine.
Check the fuser electrical connector into the back of the machine is okay.
Check the thermistors are not upside down.
Try replacing the fuser and machine connector block and harness as a last resort.

went back and replaced the rear connector on the fuser and the connector and harness at the rear of the machine still the same thing.Comment
