Can anyone please tell me what this error code means and how to fix it.

SC555 says the heater lamp in the fuser has been turned on for too long. Main suspect is a faulty thermistor in the fuser. Only cure is to replace the entire fuser. Second guess is theres a fault with the triac on the main power supply board,or dud Control board. If it is either of these boards its probably beyond economical repair.
You also have to access Tech Mode to reset the code before the machine will work again, this should only be done by a reasonably qualified copier tech as end users can cause havoc. Also in violation of OH&S rules.At least 50% of IT is a solution looking for a problem.
