    mpc6502 asking for new Y toner message

    i have tried 2 new oem cartridges, swapped peizo sensor and motor.
    has anyone has this issue on this model ?
    Ricoh said replace hopper so i ordered on

    what are the life counters on: Dev - Drums - Waste - Belt?
    OEM Ricoh Toner?
    Environment of the workspace of unit?
    PM's done on time?
    have you tried to clean out toner supply/waste sections?

    So many questions so little info given.

      Machine In non-production environment, total meter is around 100K.
      i vacuumed out hopper prior to swapping sensor and motor.
      oem ricoh toner...

        How long has it been in place...
        Even tho might be below PM count...age/environment all play a factor.

        Hopper.. ok.. tubes to dev

        ITB to waste...?

        MORE info on really been done.. counters..etc could help

          Had quite a few toner hoppers go out on these models. As phil said check the tubes because they get backed up. The auger in the hoppers get bound up and snap.

                It was the bottle motor failing intermittently !
                hopper did not fix
