    Ricoh Aficio Mp 5002sp - Web Access Failed Invalid Credentials

    Hi guys.I have an issue with a ricoh printer,i cant seem to access my network printer on the web interface simply because i cannot figure out the password that was setup by the previous technician.


    Will a factory Reset/Restore To Factory Default reset the password.


    If so how will i...

    1.Restore To Factory Default
    2.Default the password..

    Have you tried to login using supervisor instead on admin? supervisor has one function only. Changing the admin credentials.

    Otherwise you will need to use Factory SP mode. Someone else might be able to give you the system SP to clear all credentials, address book and admin. Be sure to back the address book first.

    The only other method is to replace the NVram.

      The newer machines I believe the only way to reset a forgotten password is a NVRAM.

        Nope, factory SP and the appropriate SP mode run works on all up to the latest. Will see about the IM series soon.

          If it doesn't, then Ricoh has changed it. That's what happens when too many people know and share it on public forums.
