    MPC range

    Hi all
I was just wondering if anyone was aware of any mod's done to the white rollers, DIA16 b2234433, in the exit unit? I have noticed that on machines that do a large amount of label printing, these rollers collect loads of rubbish and become noisey. I have to remove the unit and carefully scrape the hardend toner off of them. I have had a look in the mod bulletins, but there is nothing there about it.
    Thanks folks...

I've noticed this more on the Athena than the Apollon. You're bang on with the fix, yank the exit unit out and give them a scrub. Only other way around it, especially if the machine has a finisher, is to get the customer to output all their prints to one of the finisher trays instead of the internal tray(s). Not ideal I know, but it saves the "noisy" call.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.
